What does a top-up degree entail?

This week’s blog addresses some of the most frequently asked questions about our the Top-up degree programmes.

What does a top-up degree entail?

A top-up degree consists of the final year of an undergraduate degree. These courses are designed for students who have already completed a related foundation level degree or an equivalent qualification such as Level 4 + Level 5 Diploma with 240 credits.

Top-up degrees enable students to advance their knowledge, skills, and comprehension of a specific subject while also earning an internationally recognised credential.

How long is it expected to take to complete?

A Top-up degree with London School of International Business typically takes 10 months to 12 months. Our entirely online  courses require a minimum of 11-12 hours of study per module, per week.

Additionally, students can complete their studies faster than the indicative course duration by doubling up on modules at certain times; however, minimum study durations apply.
